This photo is from a recent expedition to the Penninsula of Antarctica. Want a true adventure, try skiing and climbing on the Peninsula of Antarctica.

This is in one of my favorite places on the planet, the Gerlache Straits.

More sunshine has returned to the state, and in this area warming trends have affected the snowpack.

I skied nearly 4000 vertical feet Sunday in Rocky Mountain National Park, under good snow. I dug a profile pit down 133 cm, all test revealed good net results, it was a NE aspect. That was for that small area, that is not to say it's good elsewhere.

I have added 2 Level II AIARE courses for the year, check the website for dates. You must have done a L-I to qualify for these courses.
