On 30 November 2005 Roz Savage, a 37-year-old former management consultant, will set out to row single-handed across the Atlantic from the Canaries to Antigua as the only solo female to compete in the Atlantic Rowing Race.

Rowing races in general are a touch prospect (I much prefer to have a bit of sail out there), and its made extra-double hard by doing it alone. This will probably take close to 100 days. Roz is also going to be trying out some new XJournal features on the project as well.
