The Voyage of Hope combines two things that I am incredibly passionate about: spreading my stroke awareness message and sailing. The Voyage of Hope strives to catch the attention of people and give them a heightened awareness of stroke. We plan to stop in numerous ports during our three-year sailing voyage around the world. In each location, I will be working with the organizations such as the National Stroke Association (NSA) and various volunteers to issue press releases, organize local media events, lead stroke awareness discussions, give educational talks, and take part in other programs.
