Lonnie called in last night to say that they are at N89.21.35, W52.13.57. They are drifting fast to the South at perhaps 5-6 miles a day. They have passed the tracks of our North Pole dogsled expedition which is ahead of them by about 10 miles. They crossed 3 leads today - each of which was moving, either opening or closing. The wind was straight out of the north which made the day feel a bit "raw".
