Gosh...

After what seems to have been an eternity (well about 2 years, 2 months and 15 days) the Perth 2 Perth site has a new journal entry!

However, the image is a little fraudulent, in that was taken last April during a work related visit to Prague.

Since the last Web update there has, as you would expect, been much "water under the bridge", including a whole new agricultural support regime announced in Europe.

For me, after some work here and there with the Navy, I have now settled back in London with NYK. They are a global logisitcs company with HQ in Tokyo and as one of the world's largest shipping companies, manage around 500 more ships than the Royal Navy. My role is in communications with responsibilites extending from the Mid-Atlantic to the Middle East and from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea. It is challenging, but something I am thoroughly enjoying.

I still hear from the original P2P members, though I haven't heard from Rob for a couple of months now. Will is still in the north of England and Alex was working in London. Rob has been here there and everywhere it seems, much of it on a bicycle!

As to the future well with the Range Rover still alive, though aging a little, I do have some plans for an overland adventure later this year?! Stay tuned...
